Photo Fresh started in Glasgow in January 2024, because founder Stephen was sick of the same boring green trees hanging in every car. He wanted something more creative and fun, so he turned his flat into a mini factory, filling it with printers and heat presses. The first few air fresheners were god awful. But every batch got better, and as they improved, more and more orders came in.

Soon the machines he needed wouldn’t fit in the flat, so he moved into a tiny unit in Glasgow and brought in his best friend Kris in to help. As the orders grew, so did the team and the machines, until they outgrew that space too.

Today, every air freshener is made in the Photo Fresh workshop on the south side of Glasgow, where Stephen and Kris grew up, so it really does feel like home. It’s a small local team who make everything by hand right here in the UK, never outsourced abroad. That’s how they keep prices low and shipping fast, and the best part of the job is still seeing how happy their air fresheners make people.
